ISBA announces today that it has started an executive search for a CEO for Origin, the UK cross media measurement initiative. The position, which will be a new role within Origin, comes after ISBA has secured funding for phase three, build and trial.

The build and trial phase signifies that Origin is no longer theoretical but is moving to a functioning service. This phase will include Kantar’s involvement.  Kantar was chosen as preferred supplier to build out the Origin single source panel.

Stakeholders are committed to the mission, objectives, governance, and funding of Origin which reflects the joint industry collaboration and determination to meet the WFA north star.

ISBA is now seeking an interim lead as Tracey Kitt, currently Origin’s Director is leaving Origin for a permanent role externally.

The executive search will be led by ISBA Director General Phil Smith and carried out by an executive search firm.

Phil Smith, Director General, ISBA: “It is testament to the hard work of all the Origin team and the key Origin stakeholders that we are now in a position to recruit a senior leader to take the service through trials and the formation of a commercial entity to launch and beyond. Tracey has been key in securing alignment to governance, the next phase of funding and creating the plan for build and trial. We thank her for her contribution and wish her every success in her new role”
